It is a Museum, not a Yacht, see below.

Best regards Axel

The Fairy Floating Museum is a special museum shell in which two central stories are housed:

A. The business course of his owner, Yannis Latsis, from his birth in 1910 until the mid-1990s, when he was withdrawn from the world of business.

B. The history of the ship since its construction in 1939 until the completion of its reconstruction in 2010.

The narrative unfolds through a multitude of photographs, business, personal and public documents, objects, forms and audiovisual material and is presented on the background of important political, economic and social events of the 20th century. Finally, in the room formerly housed in the dining room of the ship, the visitor is given the opportunity to watch two short videos about the history of the passenger Neraida and about the time of its reconstruction at the Floating Museum.

The historical course of "Neraida" and Yannis Latsis are presented in the publication "Fairy, Business History", John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, Athens 2010.

This one had me checking if it is really a yacht or not (we didn't have it in our database). It seems to be a floating museum these days. It looks fantastic! https://neraida.org/en/museum/ekthesi/anakataskeyh-kai-metatroph-toy-neraida-se-moyseio/

Great to see this oldie (she served in, and survived the WW2!) still alive and well.

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers
