While fishing in the Norway Sea onboard the trawler "Khrustal" a fire broke out. All attemps to extinguish the fire were without success. Crew left the vessel. Three seamen died for various reasons. "Khrustal" was towed to Svetlyy (USSR). Due to big damage (cargo holds and engine room burned down) the vessel next year was towed to scrapyard.
