Description:
05/12/2018, abandoned and under detention at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
The vessel, based in Tripoli, Libya, arrived here in 2014 for general repairs. Some six months later, the ship caught fire at the after end.
Soon after, the ship was abandoned by its crew and legal proceedings were initiated to take control of the ship.
In 2016 the ship was seized and held by Order of the Commercial Court Number One of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
A year later, the same judicial body allowed the Port Authority to sell the ship at Public Auction.
The ship failed to find a buyer at the recommended lowest price at that time.
In September 2018 the Port Authority of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria again auctioned the fishing vessel, for half it's appraisal value, starting with an initial sales rate of 78,177 euros, 55% of the official appraisal value that was set at 142,140 euros.
On this occasion the ship was sold to Logiscrap S.A fro demolition, but the final bid amount is not known to me.
