1941: bought by the US Navy, renamed “Alcyone” & designated AK-24 (attack cargo ship); converted for naval service at the Boston Navy Yard & commissioned on 15 June 1941
March 1947: sold to Johnson Line
February – November 1948: rebuilt at Eriksberg's yard in Gothenburg.
1969: sold for scrapping in Kaohsiung, Taiwan
