Description:
Polish Steamship Company (PZM)'s "Liberty" ship KOPALNIA ZABRZE was here photographed passing Hochdonn, Kiel Canal, eastbound on 24th July 1969 on voyage from Safi to Szczecin.
Built in 1944 as RAYMOND V.INGERSOLL, she was sold to Norway in 1947 and renamed SNELAND I before being resold to Poland. Hulked at Swinoujscie in September 1976 as MP-ZP-GDY-8, she was scrapped in 1982.
