Description:
Scindia Steam Navigation of Bombay (now Mumbai) had on 29th December 1955 taken delivery from the Hindustan shipyard at Vizakhapatnam a new JALAVIJAYA, here seen passing Hoek van Holland, outbound from Rotterdam, on 16th June 1970 during a voyage from Calcutta and Alleppey to Copenhagen.
Sold in 1972 to Tolani Pte Ltd, also of Bombay, and given the name PRABHU DAYA, she continued trading until beached outside her home port on around 25th October 1980 for breaking.
