LR says it was converted at Dalian, China in 2009

Where did that info come from, Pieter. RINA class does not mention it. It's very 'ship shaped' hull (as opposed to barge shaped) and the accommodation/stern section is typical of a Japanese built ship of the 1980s era.

Interesting, the aft section was only added in 2009, as BG-102 she was just a non propelled pontoon
