Built in 1931 by shipyard Gebr. Niestern & Co. at Delfzijl (NL) as sailing cargo vessel FRANZISKA (yard number 189), converted to motor vessel in 1948 and served as coaster until 1980. During restoration from 1980 until 1984 she received masts and rigging again. From 2013 until the beginning of 2016 she sailed between Sylt and Hamburg as sailing cargo vessel until her shipping company went into liquidation. She was sold to Stiftung Hamburg Maritim in May 2017 to be restored by volunteers.
