Deutsche Seereederei VEB's 1959 Moss (Norway) built BODE is seen passing Portishead outbound from Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago, on 16th November 1969 during a voyage from Mombasa to Rostock.
EX- ARCTIC GULL-65 (Odd Berg, Tromso)
Later: 1979 CEFALLONIAN DESTINY - 82 IONIAN DESTINY - laid up Piraeus from 26.9.84 - renamed SCORPIOS STAR for the voyage to Gadani Beach for breaking, arriving there on 30.6.86
