Description:

Black Star Line of Ghana's 1969 Cadiz built KLORTE LAGOON is seen passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago, on 5th December 1969.

After arriving at Tema on 9th August 1985 she was laid up and eventually sold, via Greek intermediaries, for breaking at Alang as MILOS E., and was beached on 26th April 1987.
