Description:

Frycz Modrzewski passing the northernmost point of Denmark at Skagen.
Built 1968 by Rauma Repola Oy at Rauma (188)
Broken up 07.02.1997 at Alang

Mysteriosly, it´s the only picture I know of F.M. painted in orange, one year later I have seen her at Aalborg, painted in grey and in a very bad condition: http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=3095434

Does anyone know how long she goes painted in orange?

Hello,
from 1993 the ship belonged to POL-America, a Polish Ocean Lines' subsidiary, which adopted orange as hull color.

Fotoflite.com has a series of "Frycz Modrzewski" images in orange, the earliest one dated on 05.09.1994, the latest - 21.03.1995.

Then, (when exactly?) the ship was obviously chartered by another subsidiary, POL-Seal, that was running East and South Africa Service.

From 29.11.1996 the ship was formally again a property of 'core" POL, until the end as in your description.
