Deutsche Seereederei's 1968 built "Rostock" type ORANIENBURG was here photographed passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth on 31st December 1969, exactly fifty years ago, during a voyage from Calcutta to Rostock via Kakinada to load oilseed for Avonmouth.

The ship was one of several sold in 1990 to Metz of Lebanon but was not modified for containers and, as PABLO METZ, was instead quickly sold for breaking at Calcutta, arriving there on 23 April 1993
