Very interesting comment that I share fully, remember in the 70s that in the airport of Malaga where I worked could approach both Bea and Iberia planes without being a passenger , but then I had no camera . My first camara was a Zorki 4 bought it at the Soho in London , I was work at the Savoy Hotel and the River Tamesis was near where my time off i spending time to shotting Ships . What times? those .Bregards Bod and have a nice 2020 ..

The hobby of ship-spotting was really hard-hit by the introduction of ISPS. We lost access to some great photo vantage points, many of which posed no threat whatsoever of someone smuggling aboard a ship something nasty to the USA (which is what ISPS was all about as a result of 9/11).

Nothing is easy today dear Michael ,I think you tell me about the port of Algeciras, where is this photo of the Maersk terminal, for make photos you need a permit from the port control, but if it is only day I do not think you will have a bad luck? walking is long the routes but if you have will you get it ..my best wishes for 2020 ..Salvador

Nice one Salvador. Is this jetty publicly accessible? I see a lot of bunker tankers and tugs berthed there but I suppose with ISPS it can't be easy to get there. Brgds, Michael
