Over a period of about 10 years there have been four different ships carrying the name Lanka Abhaya. This is the third one, sailing as such from 1985 to 1987.
She was built as Euro Star, by the Warski shipyard in Stettin, (B181/10). Under her final name all of her cargo gear was removed. She was scrapped in 2011 at Alang
