The epic with the oil tanker « DELFI » began in November 2019, when it sank off the coast, and its crew of three people to the last one refused help, so they were saved by force

By law, the owner had to remove the sunken ship, but until the end of July, that is, in eight months, he was unable to do so. President Zelensky's visit to the site did not help either. As a result, the state took the right to withdraw the tanker from the shipowner. The situation is even recognized as an emergency at the local level.
The court subsequently seized the tanker with the right to transfer the AMPU or other persons on behalf of the latter. In September 2020, an oil tanker was removed from the Odessa beach. It was towed to the port of Chernomorsk.
