Dear Jongr1949, could you recall what the maker was for cargo cranes? They very look alike Soviet by Obuknovskiy Zavod of Leningrad. Thip was built in Spain.

I sailed on the Carrier just after she was built, she suffered an enormous number of defects, vibrated horribly and suffered one major breakdown that required we return to port in Australia with one of our main engine cylinders inactive (we disconnected and hung one piston in the cylinder)and no spares on board.
In that particular instance doing no more that four knots we had to outrun a typhoon doing twelve knots.. luckily for us the typhoon changed course and we were able to make port and safety.. if that hadn't of happened I probably wouldn't be here today.
