Three people died and five were missing in the night of Dec 13, 2020, after the 'Oceana' was in collision with the Chinese container ship 'Xin Qi Sheng 69' in the Yangtse Estuary, which subsequently sank with 650 containers on board off Shanghai. The 'Oceana' was hit by engine problems and slammed into the Chinese ship, where all 16 crew members had to jump into the water immediately. Only eight of them were rescued alive.
