Built 1945 as *ST 880* at Sturgeon Bay, WI, by the Sturgeon Bay SB&DDCo., hull no. 185, for the U. S. Army. Busch-Sulzer 6-cylinder Diesel, 13" x 17," 650-bhp. Transferred to the Army Corps of Engineers in 1947 and renamed *Avondale.*

Sold commercial 1964 and rebuilt and renamed *Adrienne B.* US 293577: 81' x 21.8' x 10;' 94 gt, 64 nt. Repowered 1966: EMD 12-645, 1500-bhp. Later *Old Mission* (1995). Presently in service for Kindra Lake Towing, Chicago.
