My boyfriend and I used to work on Lady K II between 2006 and 2008. He was travelling on the train through Southampton a few years back and saw her there, so I have been trying to find more information about her.

So pleased to have found this website and to be able to see a few photos of what she looks like currently. Thank you for sharing the finer details about her too.

Beautiful Lady K II!

It may be complicated. When Solent Refit went into Administration in 2017 she had been at their yard in Hythe Marine Park for five years, but apparently with refit stalled since 2015 when the owner halted the project and she was offered for sale - the owner was listed as Tyvek Ltd, with an address c/o Azure Maritime Ltd, Lugano, and reported in 2017 in the High Court to have been owned by Andrew Ruhan (google him for his labyrinthine business interests and divorce litigation - no surprise he gave up on the project). By 2018 Solent Refit had vacated Hythe, and I suppose that is when she was moved to the Itchen.

According to Equasis, which still has her as PAN flag, from 4/2018 her owner has been Monte Zoncolan Voornediep BV, Rhoon NLD, which is connected to Vertom and owned VOORNEDIEP (IMO 9229087) until mid-2018.

But, strangely, also in 4/2018 the yacht had British flag radio licence issued (c/s 2FZB4, MMSI 235095435) to Allan Foot - the former owner of Solent Refit.

She looks far better than I expected. She is stuck in mid-refit. She was for sale through Solent Refit asking GBP 1.5 mln in 2017, but Solent Refit went bankrupt in 2018, so unsure of her current status.

Brian, with luck someone might be able to throw more light onto this.

Hi Clive she may have been there a while. It is the first time I have seen her as I live in Greece but at the moment stuck in Southampton due to the CV19 lockdown and today was my first time out in 8 weeks.

Has she not been there for quite a long time? I seem to recall that she arrived to undergo a refit and was available for sale. Sadly, my 'piggy bank' does not have enough money it otherwise I'd happily have her and have her rebuilt to once again look as she did when named Radiant.
