Description:
MOC tanker Diane hit the headlines in 1967 when she collided in thick fog off the Dutch coast with the German coaster Annelis Christophersen. She caught fire which spread over the forepart of the ship and caused a large explosion. The ship managed to stay afloat and after lengthy repairs she became fully operational again in 1968.
Here shown at anchor in the Caland Canal (1980 approx) in the final days of her life, as was broken up in South Korea in December 1982.
