Hi Henk
the aft section of ANDERS MAERSK (IMO 7361219) was joined to the forepart of ANNA MAERSK, the vessel emerging from the shipyard as ANNA MAERSK (IMO 7361219)

Sorry Henk, Bruno is correct. When Maersk's A class were lengthened and re-engined around 1983, the forepart of ARTHUR MAERSK (IMO 7361221) was joined to a new aft/part cargo section built by Hitachi, with a new IMO 8317485. The aft/pt cargo section of IMO 7361221 was joined to the forepart of ANDERS MAERSK and retained its IMO number as ANDERS MAERSK
