The 1951 Hamburg built MERAK, owned in Lugano (Switzerland) by Financiera Global Maracaibo S.A. (Arnoldo Piazza) was photographed passing Rozenburg inbound for Rotterdam from Italy on 15th May 1971.

After arriving at Port Said on 13th September 1978 from Braila she was reportedly to revert to the name DENNIS B. but idled there until scrapped in the Bitter Lake area of the Suez Canal in 1981.
