The wreck began to quickly deteriorate in the 2nd half of the 90s. I remember in 1998 seeing it from Zelenogradsk as "some listing ship with masts" near the cape about 10 km in the distance, but in mid 2000s there was nothing seen in that area.

Edit: I read that in early years anything that's worth was taken from the wreck by visitors, then in some years the Navy used the wreck as a target, setting it on fire. Eventually whatever was left above the water was scrapped in end of the 90s.

That's ANNA F wrecked at the "Gvardeyskiy" cape (Мыс Гвардейский) near Pionerskiy, Kaliningrad Oblast. Currently there's nothing left of the ship.

"In 1973, in the early morning, after a severe storm in the Baltic, border guards bypassing the deserted shore saw him. A huge ship with lit lights near the shore. An alarm was raised. A group of border guards crossed the ship. It was empty. Not a soul! Not a single person, although a lot said that people were here. And quite recently. In cabins there are spread out bunks, things in wide lockers, dining equipment in a wardroom, ashes in an ashtray, food, cigarettes.
Initially, the ship was taken under guard. Then it turned out that the ship was towed from Spain to Finland, where it was supposed to be cut into metal. A terrible storm began. A hurricane blew both ships, and the one that towed Anna F., and Anna herself to the steep banks of the Zemland Peninsula. The ferry crew, eleven people, threw Anna F., somehow on a rescue boat, the tow truck and the steel cable with which the ship was towed got chopped off. When "Anna F." was on the rocks, then his body broke. Experts have calculated: pulling it out of here will cost many times more than the cost of all the metal that this old ship consists of. Soon the security was removed. Furniture, tables, sofas, armchairs, carpets, dishes disappeared somewhere ...

This ship was built in 1948 at the Scotts Shipbuilding & Engineering Greenock. The first name is "SULIMA", the second is "MANO". In 1967, it was called "ANNA F". Greek cargo ship "Anna Foret". After a serious breakdown of the main engine, it was sold for scrap."
