Description:

The 1978 Zumaya (Spain) built EVIA is seen approaching Ravenna on 9th November 2002.

Ex- SOTA ARANZAZU - 91 BINISSALEM - 01

Later: 2004 EYBOIA - 04 GEORGIOS S. - 05 ELWOOD - 07 COTE ARANZA

On 7th September 2007 Koos Goodriaan had advised as follows:

"The ship has been lying for a long time at the Dockside Yard in Rotterdam/IJsselmonde and was renamed from Elwood to Cote Aranza at the beginning 2007.

There are some men on board from Ghana and they told me that they would soon sail for Africa."

It was reported on 15th December 2010 that she has been sold for breaking.

For many years she traded between the spanish mainland, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante to the Balearic Islands as "Binisalem". She was one of the last coasters in this trade after the RoRo took over. Binisalem is a village in the center of Mallorca famous for its vineyards.
