Description:

In 1983 George Th. Sigalas, in partnership with G.N.Tattos, started a new company named Trade Fortune Inc., acquiring three ships given funnel colours of black with a broad blue band between two narrow white bands.

The 1982 Shimizu built bulk carrier WIN, purchased in 2001, is seen approaching Langton lock, Liverpool, on 3rd March 2007 to load a cargo of scrap metal. A simplistic approach was then clearly being taken when choosing ship names!

Ex- FLORES - 87 SINGA WILTRADER - 89 WESTERN WINNER - 99 WINNER - 01 (Ark Maritime, Piraeus)

Later: 2009: NINA A. - scrapped Chittagong 8.8.11, beached 28.8.11

By the end of 2014 Trade Fortune Inc. was listed as the operator of two bulk carriers, the 2002 built MIMOSA (IMO 9242508, ex LOWLANDS MIMOSA sold to Indonesia on November 2019 to trade as HI 03) and the 2012 built FAST (IMO 9513842, ex EAST).

Three other ships have since been purchased, the 2006 built GLOBAL LEGEND (IMO 9300623), the 2010 built SAN NICOLAS (IMO 9463580) and the 2011 built SAN GEORGE (IMO 9491288)
