POLAR COSTA RICA, a Bahamian reefer on charter to Hamburg-Süd is here seen passing Great Belt, Denmark in june 1997. Originally she was built for Hamburg-Süd at Lübeck in 1979 as POLAR COSTA RICA.
Sold in 1981 to Bermuda and renamed CARIBBEAN UNIVERSAL, being transferred to Sri Lanka flag in 1983. In 1990 she became Bahamas-registred BERING UNIVERSAL, before being renamed POLAR COSTA RICA again in 1994.
In 2005 she was renamed CRYSTAL LILY, and arrived at Alang, India in august 2009 to be broken up
