Description:
The 1984 Oshima (Japan) built bulk carrier PROGRESS, owned by Trade Fortune Inc. of Athens, is seen discharging a cargo of steel at Liverpool on 19th January 2005.
In 1983 George Th. Sigalas, in partnership with G.N.Tattos, proceeded to start this new company Trade Fortune Inc., acquiring three ships named ARGYROULA, SAN GEORGE and SAN JOHN with funnel colours black with a broad blue band between two narrow white bands.
PROGRESS (Ex - SANKO CONDOR - 86 SPRING CONDOR - 92 INTREPID - 95 SANMAR PROGRESS) was purchased in 2002 and remained in the fleet until 2011 (Renamed VADIBEL, beached for breaking at Gadani Beach on 31st March 2018 as S VADIBEL).
Trade Fortune’s fleet currently comprises FAST (IMO 9513842), SAN GEORGE (IMO 9491288), SAN NICOLAS (IMO 9491288) and GLOBAL LEGEND (IMO 9491288).
