1995 July 22: while discharging at Gwang-yang port near Yeosu in South Korea, was ordered out to sea due to approaching typhoon. On the way out she first collided with a small rock near Sori Island, following which a fire broke out in the engine room, resulting in the stoppage of the main engine; she then drifted aground on Sori Island itself. Refloated 26 November & taken under tow for the Philippines but sank on 25th December.
At some point subsequent to her grounding she had been renamed “Sea 1”
