D.B.Deniz Nakliyati's 1984 Camialti built KAS, which was launched as KARAMAN, is seen arriving at Birkenhead on 28th July 2000 with a cargo of steel from Turkey.

After having a major engine breakdown in the vicinity of Acores in 2013 the vessel was moored in Ponta Delgada commercial harbour waiting for the Court's decision on the arrest as to providing the financial amount required for the payment of the crew wages.
