built 1953 by Nobiskrug-Werft, Rendsburg / Germany, for Frisia Reederei, Rendsburg; 1964 sold to Rendsburger Reederei Thomas Entz & Sohn KG, Rendsburg; 1969 bought by Aldebaran Cia. Maritima, Piraeus, and renamed DARRAH; 1974 she bacame NONI and 1979 TAREK; 1982 broken up after fire in 1980;

My neighbor helped built this vessel.He proudly told me the installation of the engine. He is 85 years old.

Btw, she was the first German ship with a diesel engine that used heavy oil. A huge 6 cyl. 2-stroke 3.600 hp engine built by Borsig-Werke, Berlin-Tegel under an Italian Fiat licence. (Source: DR, Vol. 21)
