Description:

EBN HAWKEL, a Neptun 301 type built at Rostock for General National Maritime Transport Co of Misurata, Libya, is seen passing Rozenburg inbound for Rotterdam in July 1991.

On 4th April 2002, during a voyage from Casablanca to Tripoli with a cargo of flour, EBN HAWKEL capsized and sank 210nm east of Algiers with the loss of 25 lives.
