Description:

W. Bruns, Hamburg`s reefer BRUNSWICK capsized on 18 June 1964 after having left Floating Dock 4, Vulkanhafen at Howaldtswerke Hamburg AG due to poor ballasting. She had undergone a pre-sale inspection by new USSR owner. One crewmember died in the accident.
She was raised 14 August 1964 by Bugsier`s salvage vessels ENERGIE and AUSDAUER (upfront).
Built in 1956 by H.C.Stülcken Sohn, Hamburg (856) for W. Bruns, Hamburg, Gt 3.128, 3.445 tdw.
65- CERES, Cimbria Reederei, Flensburg, converted into livestock carrier, GT 3.194, 2.657 tdw
73- CODAN, C. Clausen, Singapore
79- broken up at Busan.
