Empros Lines' 1974 built SD14 type AVANCE is seen arriving at Rotterdam in 1987/8

She was delivered by Austin & Pickersgill at Sunderland in 1974 to Greek liner operators G.Dracopoulos (Empros Lines) as ANNA DRACOPOULOS, being renamed AVANCE in 1987.

In 1988 she was sold and cleverly renamed ADVANCE, managed by Norbulk Shipping Agencies of Glasgow.

In 1993 she was "sold East" and briefly renamed OONC WINNER before trading as FLOATING MOUNTAIN until 1998, then as SUN BRIGHT until 2000, and finally as BRIGHT SEA before arriving at Mumbai on 15th December 2001 to be broken up.
