Departing Sydney Australia during her 1983 South Pacific cruise season in the blue pacific. Photograph taken from North Head. Replacement for a previous post enhanced with mold spider effect reduced. 35mm negative.

Although she spent a lot of years operating as a cruise ship she was built as a two-class ocean liner, on the UK to Australia run. Even to the end of her days, although supposedly then a one class ship, she still operated a form of class separation. She always felt like a liner rather than a cruise ship.
