Description:
At the Port of Brownsville, Texas looking towards Esco Marine, the USS Des Moines is well along with her dismantling, with portions of her uppers removed. Also here is a much better view of the Texas Clipper being buttoned up for sinking offshore as an artifical reef. Photo taken 14th December, 2006.
