Built in 1926 by shipyard Wolthuis at Sappemeer/Groningen (NL) as sailing cargo ship. This Tjalk transported mainly sugar beets, potatoes and peat throughout the Netherlands. In 1930 a Diesel engine was fitted, cargo operations lasted until 1978 when the vessel was sold. In 2005 she was re-rigged and used for recreational purposes since.
