Description:

Built as an auxiluary ketch for the South Australian Gulfs trade 'Lady Jillian can be seen here discharging a single 20 foot box of explosives at the port of Burnie.
Destined for the west coast mines it had been loaded at Point Wilson, Port Phillip.
Having spent her middle years in the Bass Strait livestock trade... to and from the Flinders Group and Erith Island in the Kent Group she was at the time this photo was taken - about 2000 give or take - in the ownership of Les Dick of Launceston.
