Do passing Pilot boats give each other "hand signals" like when pass each other in an ambulance? LOL

ORION is appr 10 yrs old.
The vessel in Santa Marta is of a earlier series (Discovery class) which are almost all sold now.
SCHONEVELD is the latest addition of Belgian boats, together with WULPEN built in 2019.
The Swaths you are referring to are used on the North Sea both used by Belgian and Dutch pilotage. these boats are older.

Have a question,,seems the yellow ORION is an older boat and some sisters were sold, as I saw one of them in Santa Marta , Col. The red one in the back is also a older one, as when I was last time passing flushing and dropped later the pilot outside it was a Catamaran Type boat. Those old ones serving at flushing and the Cats at the outer Pilot stations ?
