I suppose that car carriers have become so big and ugly now because the cars they transport are also big and ugly.

Thanks all for your kind comments on this classic vehicle carrier, what a contrast to Grimaldis current ships, i would find it hard to photograph one of them.

Very nice pic. An interesting vessel, Grimaldi's first fitted car carrier, a 2019 report as below:

"the fiftieth anniversary from the start of the commercial relations between the Neapolitan Group and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ (FCA) when the first car carrier with the “Grimaldi Lines” livery was named “Warrington” as a tribute to Fiat UK, whose headquarters were at that time in the homonymous city. The “Warrington” was employed on the route between Italy and the United Kingdom transporting Fiat cars for the British market."
