26/03/1999, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Islas Canarias, Spain.

Partial view of the foc's'le and forepart of the deep sea salvage tug, which was on semi-permanent stand-by at Las Palmas.

(As seen from the bow of the "BLUE MOON" - IMO 7420936 which was undergoing main engine repairs.)

Keel laid on 03/05/1977, launched on 25/10/1977, and completed on 15/12/1977 by Schiffswerft und
Maschinenfabrik Max Sieghold, Bremerhaven, Germany (176)
999 g.t., 990 dwt., and 86 tons bollard pull, as:
'Caribic' to 1985, and
'Leopard' until 01/09/2010, when the vessel foundered near Galé Beach, Porto Grande, St. Vincent, Cape Verde Islands.

The ship was built for Bugsier-, Reederei- und Bergungs-Gesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, of Hamburg.

1985, sold to the Black Sea Shipping Co. Odessa, Ukraine and renamed 'Leopard'.
1993, sold to Blascospetsflot, Odessa, Ukraine.
1994, chartered to Tsavliris Salvage - Piraeus, Greece.
1997, sold to Salvage & Towage Co. - Odessa, Ukraine.
2000, sold to Derzhvane Pidpriemstvo "Mars" (Morska Avariyno Ryatuvalna Sluzhba) - Odessa, Ukraine.
2004 sold to Upravleniye Buksimo Spatsatelnogo i Spetsialisirovanogo Flota, Odessa, Ukraine.

2006, arrested at San Vincente Grande, Cape Verde Islands, and subsequently abandoned by the owners.

01/09/2011 broke adrift from her anchor, grounded and partly sunk on Galé beach, Porto Grande, San Vincente, Cape Verde Islands.
