Great, and historical one i would add. Must be Capt Spyros Karnessis' second vessel acquisition, shortly after he departed Thenamaris, where he was working for.
In fact, Capt Karnessis was a manager at Eastern Mediterranean Maritime, London, which was Thenamaris represenative office in London, handling chartering and marine insurance matters.
In 1979, Karnessis set up European Navigation Inc, in Piraeus, and Elka Shipping (Lonodon), whose person in charge there was Capt Theo Lembessis, colleague of Karnessis from Thenamaris. Capt Theo still going strong, being the managing director of Elka Shipping (London) at his mid-eighties.
