The' T Moon', en route from Split to Rethymnon with 12 crew members on board, allided with the rocky islet Avgo, south of Kithira, due to a damaged rudder on July 12, 2021. The vessel was able to reach the port of Rethymnon, accompanied by a Greek coast guard vessel. During an inspection by the port authority and a private diver, damage was found to the bow and the hull, including a four metres long breach in the transverse axis amidships. There was no pollution or injury reported due to the incident. The Rethymnon Port Authority detained the vessel in port until the damage wass repaired and a class maintenance certificate issued. As of July 15, the ship remained stationary in pos. 35° 22.80' E 024° 28.76' E. Source: https://www.vesseltracker.com/de/Ships/T-Moon-8917417.html
