Hi,
This vessel has 5 sisters, named: Rio Colorado, Rio Carcaraña, Lago Lacar, Lago Traful and Lago Nahuel Huapi. All of them were built at former Yugoeslavia and served many years for ELMA (Argentine State Shipping Co.)
Whilst in service for ELMA, the Rio Corrientes was also the school ship of the Argentine Merchan Marine Academy until she was laid up.

One of her sister, the Lago Traful, was used as pilot station (Recalada) being now the former Rio Limay. Cheers.

Holger, she is one of Croatian built sisters - there were Lago Nahuel Huapi (61), Lago Traful (62) and Lago Lacar (62) from Split and Rio Colorado (62), Rio Carcarana (62) or Rio Corrientes (63) from 3.Maj, Rijeka. So, one of six, maybe you'll get the final answer if you can remember anything about the vessel from that time or photo can be magnified enough to see clearly.

Hi Milko!

Thanks a lot for this info. Unfortunately I can't make this photo bigger as I made this shot with my first camera. Hope that some other members can help.

kind regards,
Holger

Holger, I tried to do something in Photoshop, but with no results. I would tell that vessel has two words in name, so Lago Nahuel Huapi won't match. And if you ask me, second word looks long, so maybe Rio Carcarana or Rio Corrientes are the answer.
