The 2010 Jiangyin built bulk carrier PERSENK is seen swinging in the River Mersey to stem the tide for her approach to Langton lock, Liverpool, this afternoon on arrival from Yali Island with a cargo of pumice powder. Unfortunately her docking was abandoned due to a combination of a strong north westerly wind and fast inflowing tide.
