I recall a friend of mine worked aboard her as R/O around 1979/80 and for some reason I recall the call sign to have been P3KK :)

On the Fotoflite' pic, on the fwd stbd side, the name is poorly writen NIKOSNASOS (one word) on the hull.
Probably a mistake of the painter.

Pieter, I found in Lloyds Register 1981 the name as NIKOS NASSOS! That's our bible! So the painter was drunk or dislectisch.

Kees, the name on the stern does read NASOS, (just fill in the shadows) but I also found in Miramar the name to be NASSOS...

Comparing this photo with the one Fotoflite shows it must be the NIKOS NASSOS, so i will change the photo to the right place. Thanks to Simon Olsen.

Simon, that looks to be the better option. the characters visible could indeed be read as NASOS, and her homeport Limassol would also be correct.

Hi Kees
possibly NIKOS NASOS IMO 5089087, ex Fafalios's DESPINA sold to AN Athanassiades in 1978.

Any of the names of that ship do not match very well with what I can read on the stern. The name seems to end on ASDE or ESDE.
