Thanks Malcolm, I think that's the one now discontinued, replaced by a v850, although the v750 is still available.

Negs are beginning to deteriorate, so need to get my act together, many thanks for your help.

Best regards

Tom

Thankyou Tom. Although smaller in size, negatives in fact scan far better than prints. I can heartily recommend the Epson Perfection v800 photo scanner; the slightly cheaper v750 is just as good. Best regards. Malcolm

Hi Malcolm, from a scanned negative that is an excellent result. I'm looking for a scanner to scan my Dad's old negs (mostly 120 rollfilm size) and was recommended to purchase one by another photographer. However, as usual, it took me so long to make up my mind, when I looked for the recommended one, it was no longer available. Can you advise which one you use please?

Best regards

Tom

Indeed Pieter, albeit unintentionally. I am currently scanning my negatives from April 1974 and thought it best, rather than wait until April 2024, to post the photos of tugs in a series today!
