The 1969 Austin & Pickersgill, Sunderland, built SD14 type NICOLAOS D.L., owned by N.G.Lykiardopulos, was photographed passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago today, on 18th November 1971 bound for New Orleans in ballast following discharge of a cargo of grain loaded at Port Cartier in Canada.
