Description:

The somewhat cramped engine room, her MAK engines being taller than the normal Caterpillars she was designed for. Rumours were that BP Shipping (for whom she was built) had some MAKs spare from something else and insisted they be shoe-horned in.

Taken from the centreline looking aft, door to thruster room/ workshop on the far bulkhead. Boiler in red to the left, two generators just visible aft. BP also insisted all the machinery be painted pale blue rather than manufacturer’s standard colours.
