Vinke & Zonen of Amsterdam's 1959 Bremerhaven built HILVERSUM is seen passing Hoek van Holland outbound from Rotterdam on 29th May 1974 for Bremen where she was sold following a voyage from Central America on CAS service.

CAS (Central America Services) was a joint-venture serving the west coast of Central America from northern Europe. The JV partners were KNSM, Holland Amerika Lijn and Royal Mail Lines, KNSM as largest participant having the management.
