Description:
One from a long series of 22000 DWT product/crude oils tankers, the EPIFAN KOVTYUKH is shown here in the 7th Petroleum Dock , around 1981.
She was built by Split as yard number 226. Fiited with a B&W again of 10500 BHP she was capable of 17 knots service speed. She was broken up on the Alang beaches during October 1996.
There is more to see in the background, with two Neste tankers and closer by one of JP Roed's Uddevalla built Aframaxes.
